|While I don't know the answer, I'll do my best to say what I think he is
|asking.
|
|He wants to have remote X.25 stations coming into a central IP host via
|translation of the X.25 into IP in order to attach to the application. He
|only knows about the XOT on Cisco, which isn't what he needs.
|
|As this is not within my knowledge yet, I'll defer to the more
|knowledgeable in the group, but my initial thoughts are that the remote
|stations will have to tunnel IP into X.25 for this to work, but perhaps
|not.
|

Yes !
It's exactly what i'm saying ( sorry for my poor syntax )
I don't want XOT ( i know XOT ), 'cause i don't want X25 in my host.
I know Cisco 'TRANSLATE' and MOTOROLA 'TPDU' too; but it seems the two of
them cant Translate only 'SERIAL' protocols.
My stations, and my host, run X25 applications : true X25, SYNCHRONOUS, not
PAD.

I use XOT today. This is why I need another method to extract the
application from X25.
-- in other words : I need to eliminate X25 protocol.
whereas XOT does not allow it.
