I have a Link Node here running 5.75. I am a first time Wellfleet user and am trying to set it up to use Proxy ARP. A and B are hosts on either side of the router. I can ping both A and B from the Wellfleet, but cannot talk to A from B or visa versa. Neither have a gateway defined to the router and neither run RIP. They do each have a default route defined so that packets to unknown nets just get spit out thru each machines single interface; thus relying on Proxy ARP to resolve the IP number into an ethernet address. Is there anything I don't know about Wellfleet's Proxy ARP? Thanx for any suggestions. -- Ken Spagnolo - Ph: +64-6-350-5160 Systems Programmer, Network Support, Usenet Admin, etc.
