With my current voice network I am able to get T1's installed for
voice traffic and waive the cost of installation. Also - the monthly
T1 cost is waived (well, it shows up in my cost per minute, but!).
My question is:
Can an AT&T G3I running V4 software support ISDN BRI for data
ports? I would like to take a PRI in to the switch (I pay the
D-channel, nothing else), and mux it out into several BRI ports.
The BRI ports would then attach to routers, video gear and
WaveRunners.
I want the BRI devices to communicate inbound and outbound - so
the PBX has to multiplex the calls.
The alternative (or more aptly named - The Right Way To Do It
(TRWTDI) would probably bypass the PBX entirely, but I'd have to pay
for it.
