i found on atari.archive.umich.edu a DSP56001 assembler (with C src) that
includes 56k code for flange, chorus, and reverb. the file was:
atarist/Newitems/as56.zoo
Newitems is a directory which holds new FTP posts for a few days so it
might find itself in another directory soon. there is an ls-RF.Z file
which should help locate it. i can't vouch for the code since i have
no way to test it. the algorithms seem reasonable, however. some of the
effects code was supposedly ported from csound (from MIT).
FYI: the new atari falcon has a DSP56001 in it, hence the assembler. there
was a mini review of the falcon in the feb Byte i believe.
