Can anyone else confirm or deny this bit of information? We are about to
start doing some programming for a TMS34010-based product and want to know
if we are wasting our time. 

A couple of other related questions

(1) What is the timetable for this?
(2) Will TI introduce any new downward compatible processors?

Just so I don't get flamed. I tried calling the FAX number --- its been busy
all afternoon. I called the TI sales office in Toronto. They claim that this
is *not* going to happen (or that it is a well kept secert).
