I'll still be in danger because police can't be everywhere at all
times. In addition, it is VERY difficult for police to control crowds.
If hundreds of people get together and decide set me on fire, there is
little the police can do to save me.

The plan is to remain anonymous because:

1. I want to be safe from net-sniffers who would like to figure me
out. If they do know -- or least have an idea of -- my identity, they
will terrorize me to no end.

2. While the stuff I'd like to write does not violate any current
laws, future laws maybe enacted that would consider my activity to be
a *heinous* felony. As as response to my chat room activities,
society's lynch mobs will see to it that new legislation is passed,
putting extreme restrictions on free speech.

Unfortunately, there is power in numbers. My opinions are in extreme
opposition of that of conventional society. If the average person
figures out the way I think, they will get their friends together,
form a violent crowd, and burn me alive.

With oppressive restrictions on confidentiality it's going to be
extremely difficult for me to find a place where I can vent my spleen
without fear of reprisal.

If society is as civilized as it claims to be, it will provide free,
high-quality, immediate, and long-term medical care -- physical and
mental -- to any and all patients.

I greatly respect science.
