IRCAM is a leading non-profit organization of musical creation, r&d and education in acoustics and music, located in the center of Paris (France), next to the Pompidou Center. A position is immediately available in its analysis-synthesis group. The candidate will develop digital signal (sound) processing and visualisation tools on Unix platforms, in C and/or C++, under X/Motif. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - Good experience in C and C++ programming on Unix platforms under X11/Motif of medium-sized projects. - High productivity, methodical work, excellent programming style. DESIRED EXPERIENCE - Experience in digital signal processing. SALARY AND TERM - 16,000Frs/month, 6 months (possible extension) AVAILABILITY - Now. EEC working papers a must.
