Our group is working on MPEG/AC3 audio decoder AND encoder
development for DVD. Now, we are branching off to develop
audio/sound effects and MPEG AAC audio decoder for US/Japan
DTV receivers. We are a product group although we do a lot
of R&D.

We have several job openings on DSP algorithmic development,
programming and productization. The candidate is expected
to work together with the rest of engineers (both software
and hardware, both video and audio engineers), and is expected
to do algorithmic development, DSP assembly programming, DSP
tool development and software productization, depending on
project schedules and group needs.

The candidate must have MSEE with DSP emphasis, Ph.D. is
preferred. DSP assembly language programming experience is
a big plus.

Interested candidate please send your resume to:

e-mail: tanyk@ssa-de.sel.sony.com
fax: (408) 955-6262

I'll contact you personally if there is a possible fit.
