What is this group about ?

Comp.editors is an INET group for the discussion of editors, editing
interfaces and internals generally.
If you have a question about a emacs variant, you would probably get
more joy from one of the comp.emacs or gnus.emacs.help groups.
However, If the question is about an emacs in relation to another type
of editor, then its probably ok to post it here.

There was 4 regular postings to this group:

  - List of EMACS implementations (Posted every 2. month).
  - The INDEX files in the VI/EX archives around the world (Posted monthly).

The two following FAQ's are looking for a new home:
  - List of editors.
  - FAQ for Comp.Editors.

People that are ignorant tend to live a frustrated life, at least when
it comes to editing - But I do belive this is a general rule in life
