Thanx - David ftp.cac.washington.edu directory: mail file: pico-bin.sun If you want the man pages, get pine3.05.tar.Z unstead. Compiling for a Sun is very easy: uncompress pine3.05.tar tar xf pine3.05.tar build sun The tar command extracts all of the subdirectories you need; when you compile the progam, the executable will be in the /bin subdirectory. The man pages will be in /doc or /man or something like that. (I've moved all this stuff around, so I don't know what the original directories were called.) Even a neophyte can do it; I've been using Unix less than a year and I got pine and compiled it about six months ago. Give it a try, Barbara Vaughan
