I'm looking for info on the above topic - that is, Windows programs that
will work in with Word for Windows 6.0 that allow you to enter and organise
citations (including publishing info and abstracts/summaries), and then
to extract and format them for inclusion in Word documents.
I've heard of two products along these lines: ProCite, which I'm told is no
longer sold/supported; and EndNote, which is. Can anyone confirm these claims,
tell me of any other similar products, or provide any other pointers that
might be useful? Do many people use these types of product? (I've seen posts
with references in them that appear to have come out of some sort of database -
do people just set up their own systems?)
Thanks in advance
Jeremy
