Hey all. I'm taking a class that I need to use emacs (for LISP). I've used VI all these years, and am finding that learning EMACS is more difficult than learning LISP. What I'm asking is, if there is an archive location with some basic (not manuals...) type help of commands for emacs. Help with emacs in general would be nice, but even nicer would be a help file/manual or whatever, that includes the interactive lisp/emacs commands (such as ESC-X run-lisp), that type of thing. I would really appreciate a direction to look, and email repsonses. (I obviouslly don't read this newsgroup, or I'd not be asking for help...) Thanks much, David -- David Hahn University of Wisconsin : Milwaukee hahn@csd4.csd.uwm.edu
