dumpkeys | /bin/grep -s "key 123 all rf(15)"
if [ $? -eq 1 ]; then
xmodmap .vt100keypad-on-sun.xmodmap # Old sun4 keypad
else
xmodmap .vt100keypad-on-new-sun.xmodmap # New sun5 keypad
fi
(Becareful of tab in string.)
