Micro-emacs for Unix Machines

I currently use Gnu-emacs on a Sun/SPARC network, but find it too big
a tool for frequent small editing jobs. Is micro-emacs (or some other
cut down version) available for Unix machines, and if so which is the
version to get, and where do I get it?

Please email me direct on D.M.Peterson@cs.bham.ac.uk

Many thanks,

Donald Peterson.
