I am trying to get demacs (gnu emacs for dos) working on a Wyse Decisionmate Notebook PC. I have installed demacs as per the file which comes with demacs, and each time I run demacs the machine crashes and reboots. Oddly enough, the same thing happens when I run the DOS version of groff. I have installed himem.sys and ansi.sys. The support people in the UK for this machine say they guess it is a problem with either the cyrix CPU _or_ the Award BIOS. Anyone got some ideas on this ? Please reply via email as we don't take comp.sys.ibm.pc. Pete -- Pete Phillips, Surgical Materials Testing Lab, Bridgend, S.
