I am trying to setup my .emacs file and I have some lisp functions I want to include in it. The problem I am having is that some of the lisp things I am trying to do don't seem to work in the .emacs file, like random and mod. I need to get a random number between 0 and 25 and it seems like no matter what I do I keep getting numbers out of the range? What is the lisp the emacs is using and how do I get any documentation on it?? thanks, sorry if this is a FAQ!! matt -- | Matt Baney | Boeing Defense and Space Division | | ----------------- | Knowledge Systems Group | | "I can't tolerate | UUCP: ..!bcstec!plato!mattb | | intolerant people!" | Internet: mattb@plato.ds.boeing.com |
