Hi netters, I just installed Emacs-19.22 on a 486 PC running SCO system V/386 (v3.2), but I have problem with key bindings: I can not type numbers (0-9) and space, since space is now a mark set command (usually it is ctrl-SPC), numbers are now digital arguments (if I type 10 and 'a', 10 'a's will be shown in the Emacs window). I tried c-h b and noticed that SPC and 0-9 are not bund to self-insert-command, but mark set command and digital argument. I can not understand why my emacs has such bindings :-( I'm using a german keyboard. It works fine in tcsh and vi. Can anyone there tell me how to modify the .emacs file to make key bindings correct? Please email send to: mackpei@cs.tu-berlin.de Thanks in advance! -- Pei Xue-jun
