Me too. I have a couple of megs of bitmapped fonts and a big
old postscript printer sitting here, and it's killing me that
i can use them on my laser printer.

IS there a decent way to convert bitmapped fonts to PS, or is the
state of the art at this time tracing the outline with some $700
PC or MAC program ?

I think there was a discussion about this in comp.graphics, but
our primary newsfeed took a dump for a couple of weeks and i never
saw the resolution of the discussion, if there was one.

Well ?
