For Type 1 fonts, there are at least two possibilities: Adobe Font Foundry, a DOS program that used to come with all Adobe font packages. According to the Adobe Web site a few months ago, Adobe is still willing to take money for it but will no longer provide "support". It isn't difficult to use, so it shouldn't need a lot of support. ZSoft SoftType, a Windows 2.x program. Neither of these can read TrueType. Jonathan Paterson Montreal, Quebec paterson@mlink.net
