Having actually rendered a couple of complex scenes last year using Autodesk's 3D Studio 1.x (assuming same interface is in 2.0) and having used Lightwave 3D and Caligari 24 (both Amiga products). The motion primitives and rendering options (lighting, texture mapping, etc.) are better than 3D Studio for the general user. They also have a much better interface consistancy than the PC software did, in terms of intuitive access to their features (unlike 3D Studio, which was obviously written for the Computer Scientist/ Computer hacker type and not for the artist).. =DonB= -- ****************************************************** dburnett@emunix.emich.edu EMU Mathematics Lab Consultant Enabling Solutions PO BOX 318, Ypsilanti, MI 48198 *****************************************************
