Started as a school assigment. Now freetime hobby GOALS: To make it easily pluggable to any application so that user just calls for rubik_init(x,y,z,size) at start , rubik_draw() at Idle function and rubik_mouse(x,y,state) at mousefunc() (not sure if this is doable since I have been doing OpenGL for < 3 weeks now) compile it as a library as well as a executable. make mirror object (don't know if there are many of these around?) like mirror(float point1[3], float point2[3], float point3[3], reflectivity); Make user interface intuitive (select works, but doesn't do anything yet but recognized the cubes) There are other goals as well like adding textures to cube etc. SCREENSHOTS: If you wish to check what I have come up with i have 2 screenshots at http://www.hut.fi/~epankala/kurbik/2x2cube.gif http://www.hut.fi/~epankala/kurbik/5x5cube.gif tried it up to 10x10x10 size, but it was a bit laggish there. USEFUL INFO? Written in Linux with Mesa 3.1beta DOWNLOAD http://www.hut.fi/~epankala/kurbik/scalable_kurbik_0.3.tar.gz PS. 1st crosspost I'll ever make so I wish it works.
