Hi All; I have a MIPS workstation for sale: MIPS workstation that is composed of the following Shablamm! Mips RS4600 100Mhz 32 Megs of CACHE RAM Windows NT 3.5 (already installed too!) 486sx25 VL-Bus motherboard in mini tower 8 Meg of RAM Dual floppies (5.25 & 3.5) 1 Gig harddrive 2X CD-ROM Intel EtherExpress 16 Ethernet card Adaptec 1542C SCSI #9 GXE video 24bit card (2 Meg VRAM) 14" SVGA monitor Mouse, keyboard, etc. Windows 3.11, Dos 6.22 PhotoShop LE (for the PC) ImageMaster (I forget the PC Name) for the MIPS ScreamerNet (Upgradeable to any version of LW 4.0) Some of the neat features about this system are: Boot to either Windows NT (MIPS), Windows 3.11 or DOS. It is a FULLY compatible PC, able to run PhotoShop, WordPerfect, Word, etc. When run under Windows NT, it is one of the faster rendering stations. See the recent VTU mag for comparisions. If I remember right, it is only slower than the top 2 Alpha CPUs. 32 Megs of CACHE RAM not DRAM. This makes it very fast. Originally, this system cost well over $6000 including ScreamerNet. I am asking $3500 plus shipping. Remember, unless Newtek has changed their upgrade policy, you could still upgrade the ScreamerNet to Indigo, etc. which is retailing at $1995. If interested, please E-mail mmower@Novell.com Thanks
