Hi, I have just finished helping to organize (from the graphics end) a conference here in Toronto, and did most of the basic design in good old WordPerfect 7 (believe it or not!). However, I would like to invest in something that will be more user-friendly if I ever do this again. This is just a sideline that a friend of mine and I got involved in, and which she / I / we may be asked to do again. I also am designing my own web-page, and have had cause to use Corel Draw on previous occasions. My question is what kind of page layout program should I consider (I'm pretty picky, having been a photographer at one point, and often find myself wanting to be very precise about computer/graphics design)? However, I'm not a professional, being a psychotherapist, and do not want to spend the earth on something I won't use, or which will be too complicated to learn. Any advice? Please post replies to my email address: gv@interlog.com Many thanks in advance for replying, Geert van der Veen, in Toronto.
