WISH: SELF-REPAIRING APPLICATIONS

One issue I'm dealing with in my Adobe applications is how
to handle all the patches Adobe puts in my System folder if
I decide to clean-install a newer version of the MacOS. This
is becoming a serious issue. Major software vendors' apps
put so much junk into the System folder that a clean install of
the MacOS can cause a royal headache.

Maybe Adobe should follow Microsoft's lead and make all of
its programs into "self-repairing applications." That is, if
the System folder patches are lost/damaged in a new OS
install, or the application itself is damaged, a compressed
Installer file on the hard disk will re-install/"repair" the
original application.

Does anyone know where to give this kind of feedback to Adobe?

I have a feeling you probably just did. The cross-posting was completely
unneccessary, however.
