The Explorer development group is looking for test sites for the beta version of
release 2.0.  Many of the features of this release were unofficially announced at
Siggraph in Chicago this year.  We are looking for "shakedown" sites to pretest the
new software.  The precise feature set will be announced soon, and the release
schedule announced around the same time.  We are expecting that the beta release
will be rock-solid, and are looking for people to verify that conclusion.

If you are interested in a jump on the release, please respond to this posting.
There are both benefits and obligations associated with being a test site, in
balance.  Release 2 has a very powerful data-typing scheme, and highly useful
application creation support, among many other features.  A new Module Writer's
Guide will be included as well.

If you want early access to this software, and are willing to work under beta
software rules, please get back to me.
