Any help with the following problems greatly appreciated!
First of all, I have tried to subscribe the the explorer mailing list
through explorer-request@castle.ed.ac.uk and have had no response.
Could my request getting lost somewhere? Could someone from the list
please contact me?
Secondly:
I have had some problems building explorer modules.
a) I tried to enter the example module in the User's Guide (3.1.1),
but my created module seems to crash with the next call to the Explorer
API after I call cxGeoRoot(); (I discovered this by doing simple
printf's after each call, so I may be off here.)
b) On a module under development, we discovered that we needed to add another
input port. We edited the .mres with module builder and added the
code to call it within our function. (We are not using the Data
Wrapper we are using X in a drawing area) I call cxInputPortOpen
and I get back an integer (3, the third parameter defined in the
mbuilder) But when I call cxInputDataGet, I get a ptr to 0 and
then, of course, the call to cxParamStrGet fails. When I try to
get its type, cxParmTypeGet returns a -1.
Thanks again!
Eric.
