An updated version of the ImportImage module is now available via. anon
ftp from ftp.epcc.ed.ac.uk (and soon from swedishchef.lerc.nasa.gov)

I'm just uploading a new version ImportImage that should fix
a few problems (color indexed files like GIF weren't being handled
properly). Also I've linked the executable with the latest version of
the SDSC image library.
