I hear that the explorer windows can be located at certain spots
by changing the .Xdefault file (a guy from ucla). Can I have
more information about that? Like a copy of the .Xdefault file
 would be great.
I also have the problem that the module name of the module librarian
is not fully displayed. Any ways to solve the problem?

You help will be greatly appreciated.

Since most of Explorer is a Xt based program, it'll obey the normal
Xt resource convention. So, a good place to start is in the directory

	/usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/sgi-color1280 ( for 19" monitors )
                                  sgi-color1024 ( for 16" monitors )

and check out the obivious files ( Explorer, Mbuilder, Dscribe ). The
primary resource that you're interested in ( I'm guessing ) is the
'Geometry' resource. If you look in any of those files, you'll see
familiar names with that resource. The format of that resource is

	<application>*Geometry : <width>x<height>[+-]<xoffset>[+-]<yoffset>

Put a line like that in your .Xdefaults ( filling in the appropriate
numbers ) and you should be all set.

I don't believe so. Maybe in the next release?
