Right.  But the origin of this thread is "design web page, send hard copies
of your work".  So the question is not experience, or layout skill, but
why judge based on printed material and refuse to even look at computer
displayed art when the goal of the system is to have computer based art.

And if extensive Technical Graphics classes and personal experience have
taught me anything, it is that paper printing and screen printing are very
different.  Anyone who has attempted to get a decent image out of an IBM
version of Freehand 4.0 should know exactly what I am talking about.  But
printing to paper is beautiful, especially directly from Freehand.  In 
fact, the only decent output for web pages I've found is to print to a
generic EPS printer as a file and go from there.

IMHO there is no reason to require someone to produce hard copies of 
images intended for web pages.  Its like asking a brick layer to build
something from wood to prove he can lay bricks.  Duh.
