I agree with every thing you said, and believe the above is true.  But
only a few years ago the paradigm for computer related publishing
was almost exclusivly on paper.  Recently there has been a paradigm shift,
like "Shockwave", due to the explosion of www sites and surfers.  The
result: there hasn't been time for "screendesigners" to enter the market
from ground zero.   Just a possible explaination for the saturation of
ex-"paperdesigners" around.
