Project Manager 


Expected Contributions:

As a Project Manager, you will ensure that the project goals and
objectives are met 
(i.e.: budget, schedule, technical performance, product cost, etc.). You
will lead 
the technical development and product introduction of a new family of
semiautomatic 
dot proofers based upon our clients existing engine and thermal imaging
technologies.  
Project focus will include:

�	timely product introduction
�	design for manufacture and assembly
�	design for expanded functionality in the future - design for
serviceability
�	integration with our clients workflow product

You will work closely with the Product Manager to define and introduce
the product.  You will 
also work closely with the thermal imaging project, and core team
representatives from 
production, applications and service to assure an effective transition
to the market.  
Finally, you will be responsible for understanding the color workflow
necessary to drive 
this product and specifying all user interfaces and control screens of
this product.

You will be communicating directly with customers to understand needs,
manage technical 
expectations and coordinate field testing and product roll-out.

As a Project Manager, you will also need to assure that the core values
of our client 
are understood and practiced.

Education Required (Discipline/]Level):

Post secondary education in engineering or manufacturing

 



Experience Required (Depth/Breadth Of Specific Skills E.G. Technical,
Managerial):

Proven leadership skills (small team - 5-20 people)

Product experience necessary (design, manufacture, assembly), product
development, 
production transfer

Physics background valuable

Strong leadership skills necessary: communication, organization,
customer interaction, 
motivation

Personal Attributes Required:

Should be a self-motivated individual with the ability to motivate a
team and should 
demonstrate and communication the Creo philosophy of self management and
individual 
responsibility.
