where to get current unix povray source?

This might be a silly FAQ-like question, but on the Povray FTP site I cannot
see, in the 'Official' directory, the source archive for povray. I've found
old versions without a problem, but is the current version only available as
binaries on the FTP site?

I don't want to use precompiled Solaris binaries if I don't have to, and
having the source would enable me to modify and add to it as I think of
things to do to it. 8-)
