: I am doing some work which involves reducing the number of colours in PCX
: images from 256 down to around 25. Currently I am reducing colours by
: merging similar colours, removing colours with small quantities, using
: Heckbert's median cut technique and using Fletcher's box and merge
: technique. While these techniques are good, reducing the number of colours
: in an image to 25 is a bit hit and miss, hence any extra techniques would
: be most appreciated. I am also generally after information related to
: color comparison and transformation specifically related to perceptual
: spaces such as CIE LUV etc. Any suggestions would be most gratefully
: accepted.

: Thank you in advance
: Cheers
