I have been studying about the use of groupware and done
a lot of reading on the subject. I found various examples of
companies that were very successful in using it but others that
were not. The reason for failure in using groupware that appeared
the most was the lack of credibility of working with someone on the
computer that you know nothing about. Is the person on the other
side a mad man/woman?
I wonder if there is someone there who has had experience
(bad or good) in the installation process of groupware, and how
much time was spent in building group confidence/harmony before
the group started working together. If no time was spent, was the
result of the group work effective, i.e., was team able to accom-
plish the task?
