Does anyone with hands-on experience with Sun's ShowMe groupware care to give some
kind of review? I've seen some ad on the stuff but, as always, that's the stuff
sales persons invent, and I'm interested in what people really think about it
since we might by a copy of it later if it looks promising.

There is a review in the Aug 31rst edition of Open Systems Today on page #6,
which is his (Jason Levitt's) "First Impression" from an interactive demo.
As it was a demo, the review doesn't really answer your request, but it will
give you more info than you'd get from the ads. For hands-on experience
yourself, you can get a reduced functionality demo version by calling
(800) 647-8333 or +1 415 336 4567. The main demo constraint is that
conferences are limited to 10 minutes in duration. If you like it,
Sun and various VARs will be happy to sell you the complete package.

Though some of the design was limited by an aggressive schedule, there
are many areas where we put in features that reflected our best guess
on building a tool that would work well for multiple users and in
conjunction with existing tools. We welcome all comments & criticism,
and hope that people find ShowMe to be of use.
