I am doing an MBA out of the University of Phoenix. My research project 
is on marketing X.500 products.

I have done some database and literature searches. I have contacted several
market research organizations. There are many articles on product
functionality and on marketing into the Unix general market. I am also
pulling up articles on X.400

I have not yet found material that specifically discusses the marketing
of X.500 products. In particular I am trying to categorize the market
segment and channels, and correllate them to product functionality. The
aim is to derive a model for positioning X.500 products.

Does anyone know of any market research, or published papers, that look at 
this area.
