I am assembling a reader on Workflow analysis, -management and -automation.
There is lots of material such as case studies and tool presentations.
However, good theoretical work is rare (models and methods,
comparative research, general theory, empirical research).

One of the few articles I saw is
R. Medina-Mora.
Actionworkflow technology and applications for groupware.
In David D. Coleman, editor, Groupware '92, pages 165--167,
San Mateo, CA 94403, USA, 1992. Morgan Kaufmann Publishers, Inc.

If you know of any pointers to authoritative literature about workflow
that might be suitable for my reader, I would be most appreciative.
If the response is worthwhile, I will post the results to the net.
In the meantime, please respond to me by e-mail (joosten@cs.utwente.nl).
Thanks in advance for your references.
