I'm just curious why I don't have seperate bass/treble settings in software. When i double click the speaker icon, my advanced properties selection is greyed-out. Is this because I have a ISA card or something else?

Aaron,
Your SB16 card was revised to include full-duplex support in
hardware. As a result, bass and treble controls were dropped from the
product during this revision. Since bass and treble are now found in
most current speaker systems, we did not anticipate this feature would
be missed. Unfortunately, the box was not updated to reflect the
inclusion of the full-duplex feature, nor was the notation referencing
bass and treble removed. The box is now being updated to reflect these
changes.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused.
