Never heard of Austrom, but I have used both Compendex Plus and
ABI/Inform.

The primary difference is in contents, Compendex being an engineering and
technology database, and ABI/Inform being a business database.

Compendex specializes in bibliographic references of jornal articles,
conference papers, and some technical reports.

ABI specializes in abstracts/full text articles from business journals,
academic jpournals, and professional publications.
