Subject: Help: request for C++ ftp sites
Hello netters,
Several people have told me that the net is a great place for
information. So...
No one has any interest in reinventing the wheel. Does anyone
know where either Smalltalk or C++ libraries are ftp reachable ?
We are specifically interested in database and concurrency libraries.
A list of ftp sites are better yet.
If you work for a company that distributes such libraries, please
contact me. We would seriously consider purchasing your product if
it met our requirements.
If anyone expresses interest, I will mail or post the answers I get
in about a week.
Please email your reply to meissner@cns.bu.edu since I have posted to several
groups and might miss your reply.
Thank You,
Karl Meissner

There are a number of publishers on the Internet. I recall seeing:Pergamon,
Addison-Wesley, Elsevier, Franklin, John Wiley, McGraw-Hill, Prentice Hall,
Sage, Skylee, and others. This is in addition to publisher service companies
like Ebsco, Faxon, Readmore and the like. There are also many newspaper

I can't seem to find Elsevier but I *think* its elsevier.nl
Scientific American also has an email address but I can't seem to find it.
Other publishers have accounts on ALANET (the American Library Association
network) that is accessible vai the Internet.
