            2nd EAST-WEST ON-LINE INFORMATION MEETING,

               Moscow, 28 September - 2 October 1992

   ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS

Learned Information Ltd, organizer of the world-renowned
International On-line Information Meeting series, and the
International Center for Scientific and Technical
Information (ICSTI) have once again collaborated to organize
the 2nd East-West On-line Information Meeting which will
take place at ICSTI premises in Moscow from 30 September - 2
   October 1992.
Following on from the success of the 1st East-West On-line
Information Meeting in Moscow in October 1989 and the
continuing progress being made politically and economically
in the former Soviet Union, Learned Information and ICSTI
have deemed that the time is now right for a second meeting
to maintain momentum and to meet the growing interest in
advanced information systems in Eastern Europe.

This 2nd East-West On-line Information Meeting will combine
the now familiar and successful mix of conference
presentations, product reviews, exhibition and satellite
workshops, in addition to the unique deal making and joint
venture session so well received at the first event in 1989.

Once again the conference will promote the broad scientific,
technical and business information contacts between
organizations and companies from West and East and major
themes will cover business and financial information, on-
line access and information delivery, networking and other
   topics of a practical nature.
