Good Day,
Just two basic questions:
- Are the track on a videodisc mastered as successive embedded circle or do
they form a long continous spiral? The literrature is not specific about
this, or seem to contradict itself.
- In the case of a circular arrangement, is the number of frame per
track in CLV format an integer value (i.e 1 in the center and 3
outward?). In the spiral case, it seem to me that you could put more
than twice the amount of frame on a 12 inch disks....
Please try to E-Mail. If there's interest, I'll summarize to the net.
Thank you!
Daniel.
