I need to find a computer-controlled (through a standard RS-232
protocol interface) CD-audio player for a project I am working on.
It doesn't have to be a CD-ROM player, but that would be OK. I need
to be able to control the player in the same way as the controls do
on the player itself as well as being able to position the laser
pickup anywhere on the disc. It than will simply play the audio
after positioning. That's it. Simple, right? Can anyone help?
----------
Nearly all new CD-ROM players support audio, can you use a ROM drive
with SCSI or AT bus card?
Good Luck
