The machine described is indeed made by Optical Disc Corporation. It costs around $140k US, and the discs it produces are indeed Laservision compatible. The blanks cost $150 US for glass, $60 for plastic. I have heard stories about the plastic discs delaminating inside players, but that was several years ago and the problem has presumably been solved. Quality is quite good on the glass discs I have seen, and acceptable (non-UmaticSP 3/4") on plastic. Definitely worth checking out if you plan on doing much videodisc production.
