In the previous article Pedro Lopes asks if there are any Videodisc Recorders that have the ability for audio dubbing. In the Pioneer Rewritable Laserdisc specs they have 2ch PCM audio with dubbing capability. I noticed that this player was not mentioned in the list of videodisc recorders. As far as I know the pioneer is the only player with two heads to allow bith erase and record on a single pass. The player uses a MO disc with a 1/3 full stroke access time of 0.2 Seconds and uses SMPTE time codes. A single player is all that is required, not a record unit and a seperate playback unit.
