That's certainly an improvement!  Just a typo that needs correction.  

For the benefit of folks who don't do much CICS coding in Assembler, it  
ought to be pointed out that EIBCALEN is a halfword field that holds 
the *length* of CommArea. In coding the above example the field you had 
in mind was doubtless DFHEICAP, a fullword field with the *address* of 
the Communication Area.
