WAIT FOR AN ECB POST IN C PROGRAM (IBM C/C++)

Hi,

I am writing a C program that issues IFI READA calls
and want to pass an ECB to it (that I have defined as
int in my C program), that gets posted by DB2 when the buffer
gets filled.

Is there a simple way to wait for an ECB to get posted in
a C program? I use IBM C/C++ (we do not have SAS/C installed).
I think they have a WAIT1(&ecb) in ostask.h. I want to accomplish
something similar, or is my only chance to write an external
assembler program that calls wait?

What would my signal/interrupt situation then be in case my C
program receives a signal?

I appreciate any help or pointers,
Peter
