I have pieces of code that read, write and update a DSORG=DA, KEYLEN=13,
RECFM=VB dataset that is owned by an MVS system on shared DASD (this is
not a guest system), but the code is not a standalone program for reading
such datasets. The dataset is actually on a 3375, but that should matter
very little. The code fragments that I have written use the standard
interface in DMKIOS for CP mods, and DIAG X'20' to drive the channel
programs (that perform the same functions to the same dataset) in CMS.

If you don't get the program you are after from someone, I would be
willing to share what I know with you.
