Can anyone explain the Compare and Form Codeword & Update Tree
instruction use?  My newest POps has a more detailed explanation, but
if someone has example(s) and a good description I'd appreciate it!

It was implemented to make DFSORT faster than Syncsort (at the time). I
have read it, but never actually tried it.
