Urgent!

i have no problems creating the database, but...
when i use the INSERT INTO thing, the problem is that the field is being
filled up to it's width with spaces....

for example: if the field width is 5 and i put the value X inside... the
result will be:  'X____'

how can i avoid these spaces?

i tried to re-update the fields and trim the spaces, but it does that
everytime.... even if i manually change the database from within Access.

please help:  es@netvision.net.il
